Refund Policy

Our Commitment

We want you to be happy with FaceAncestry. If something went wrong on our end, we will make it right. This policy explains when refunds are available and how to request one.

What You Purchased

FaceAncestry offers two paid products:

Single Reveal — $4.99
One premium ancestry report. Credits are consumed when the report is generated.
3-Pack Reveals — $9.99
Three premium ancestry reports. Credits are consumed individually as each report is generated.

All purchases are one-time. There are no subscriptions or auto-renewals.

Eligibility for a Refund

You are eligible for a full refund if:
  • ·You were charged but no credits were added to your account.
  • ·The service experienced a technical failure that prevented your report from generating, and the credit was consumed.
  • ·You were charged more than once for the same purchase.
  • ·You contact us within 7 days of purchase.

Refunds are not available if:

You are dissatisfied with your report results — AI ancestry results are probabilistic and for entertainment. Disagreement with the output is not grounds for a refund.
You used the credit to generate a report successfully.
More than 7 days have passed since the purchase.
You purchased credits knowing you had already used your free reveal and the report generated correctly.

How to Request a Refund

Email info@faceancestry.com with:

02The email address on your FaceAncestry account
03The date of purchase
04A brief description of what went wrong

We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5-10 business days depending on your bank.

Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank before contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending resolution. We encourage you to contact us first — we are happy to resolve issues directly and quickly.
